vshell

vshell—Exit from the Viptela CLI to the Linux shell running on the device. In the shell, the default terminal is xterm.

Use the UNIX exit command to return to the CLI. If the shell session is inactive, it times out after 15 minutes, and the device returns to the Viptela CLI.

Once you are in the shell, you can use standard Linux commands to perform standard operations, such as listing files, changing directories, and copying files off the device. To edit a file, use the vi editor.
