zzz-retry-primary-interval

vpn interface dot1x retry-primary-interval—How long to wait to retry accessing the primary RADIUS server for 802.1X client authentication (on vEdge routers only). If you configure two RADIUS server for 802.1X authentication and the primary server becomes unavailable, the second server is used. By default, the 802.1X interface continues to use second server and never retries to connect to the primary server.

Options

Time between Retry Attempts
seconds
How long to wait to retry accessing the primary RADIUS server.
Range: 0 through 600 seconds
Default: 0 (the 802.1X interface never retries to reach the primary RADIUS server)

Example

Retry to reach the primary RADIUS server after 5 minutes:

vpn 0
  interface ge0/7
    dot1x
      retry-primary-interval 300
